The Draughtmaster is an automatic air inlet that allows fresh air enter the room which ensures adequate air supply for solid fuel, gas and oil burners. Along with this it also has the added benefits that it relieves cross room draughts, keeps warmth at living level, maintains fresh clean air, eliminates smoky rooms and prevents condensation. The design involves no mechanical or electrical components, so there are absolutely no maintenance problems.
Draughtmaster consists of a duct of standard brick size, at one end there is a one way inlet controlled by a hinged flap, at the opposite end a louver extends outwards and upwards, discharging air towards the ceiling, installed at high level in the dividing wall between living room and hall. Draughtmaster functions on the air requirements of the fire or heater. In this way, it maintains a constant pressure within the room which eliminates cold draughts. As it introduces fresh, clean air at high level, it has the effect of forcing the warm air in the room down to living levels at the same time moving used air via the flue, so the room is ventilated without an open fanlight. The net result is warmer fresher air and a healthier, cleaner and really comfortable room.
